| |
- The FWC offers a range of training courses to its members
that covers essential information on current
Health
and Safety and Employment Law. Further details of training
events will be published on this site.
|
- Mandatory course for members - Nationally accredited Institution
of Occupational Safety and Health FWC
- "Working Safely" one-day awareness
programme delivered by Safety Training and Related Services
(STARS) including sessions in the morning on accidents
(prevention and reporting), legal duties for employer and
employee, developing safety culture, practical risk
assessment including a session on the use and completion of
the risk assessment form with a lifetime IOSH
certificate at the end. There are lots of benefits to
having a formal health & safety certificate - it not only
helps win more business especially with public bodies such
as local authorities and NHS Trusts where you can show your
company carries out risk assessments and has health and
safety aware staff but can also have a positive effect on
reducing accidents and ill health
